It will be necessary for you to

express your acceptance of the conditions

stated in this letter before your selec-

tion can be completed. In other respects

you will be subject to the Colonial

Regulations in force for the time being,

and to the General Orders issued from

time to time by the Colonial Government.

A copy of the latest edition of the

Colonial Regulations is enclosed. The

appointment is under the Colonial

Government, and your emoluments will be

paid solely from the funds of the Colony.

Medical advisers of this Department,

letter, for the purpose of being medi-
